To begin, Bitstrips.com is still sadly down for maintenance. This of course sadly means no issues of Professor Dad can be made (boo). This is especially sucky for yours truly. I've had the itch for making more for weeks now. Heck, I have half the next issue saved.
Any way, for those not in the know why Bitstrips is down, here's why.
Since I cant exactly do anything BS related, I've been (like so many other Bit-strippers have been I'm sure) trying to fill the void. For starters I've been catching up on my two favorite shows, The Walking Dead and Boardwalk Empire. I've also been keeping up with the current wrestling scene (I am a huge wrestling fan). I'm digging the current seasons of TWD and BE. Especially the latter. That show (to me at least) has not missed a beat. I'm a fan of crime stories. Current cast wise, I'm diggin' Chalky and Nelson. Was on the edge of my seat with Chalky's big fight scene. Wasn't sad to see Purnsley go.
As for the Walking Dead, so far so good, although it hasn't wowed me like season three. Last Sundays episode was decent. I'm not one for spoilers and I don't do reviews, so you'll never read a long winded post from me. I wasn't happy to see Carol go though. I was all mushy for the potential Carol - Daryl thing. Then poof, now that's not gonna happen.
I also watch a lot of things with my wife. From Will and Grace to Father Ted and 21 Jump Street. And with the internet at our disposal, we have every show and movie we can think of. We also watch new shows like Sean saves the World, The Millers, The Michael J Fox Show, Supernatural and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. And over the last few nights we've been going over the Harry Potter Movies, one film a night. Till now, I've only seen the first four.
I've also been getting back into drawing lately. Not as much as I used to do but I need to create that badly. Heck I even drew out a short (nothing fancy) story board for my Dead Zone series. It seems like Bitstrips really did take up a lot of my time, between making strips and socializing. But still, this wait is driving me gaga. I can only imagine how people who've been there five times longer than me are taking it.
