Or a thought, as some people call'em. I'm the kind of guy that if I go anywear for a couple of hours, I will have a notepad and pen/pencil on hand to scratch my animators itch. I'm an amature cartoonist at best but that doesn't stop me from drawing.
Hi, I'm Sean. I'm 25, from Ireland and for ages I've been doodling around with the idea of Professor Dad.
I was probably twenty when the idea of this mad scientist slash single parent just barrelled into my head like a battering ram of awesome. Actually the character Joe Malone started off as a completely different entity back when I was teenager. Originally he was a G.I. Joe type character. A badass soldier of fortune type with no soul and insatiable blood lust. "it was the year 2020, the world had turned to ashes and ghoulish figures roamed the wasteland feeding on the remaining innocent. One man travelled the land, protecting the last remnants of humanity". Blah blah blah, stuff like that. I was never really happy with that concept but I loved the name Joe Malone.

Professor Dad & Becky.
One day in class this strange little fellow appeared on my note pad. All I knew at the time was he was a single parent with a lab coat. At first I was thinking, "okay so he's clearly going through a mid-life crisis" but then I thought, maybe he should actually BE a mad scientist.
Professor Dad...in color.
After a lot more drawing, I settled on him being a full blown super villain. And thus Professor Evil was born. And from there he went from home experiments that usually involved Becky being embarrased to him trying to conquer the world. While still embarrasing Becky. Back story and plots started to develope. I call'em plots because my girlfriend call's them that.
I'd call them 80s pop culture references mixed with half assed stories. Anyway. Joe Malone became principle character as oppose to what I originally intended and thus....Joe Malone became Professor Evil who in turn became Professor Dad. Originally this was going to be a penned comic strip but I'm lazy and lacked supplies and funding...and experience. Luckily Bitstrips.com came around at the right time for me and life was breathed back into the idea in early 2012. That's pretty much the real origin of the series. Had some ideas, put them to paper like some sort of creative caveman and thanks to some 21st century tech, the series is in full swing.
